: : : : Hello Mark, : : : Hi Fred, : : : On the custom report, which fields are you using? Any of the ROI yields in particular? Is the custom report showing the yield for an investment, symbol, investment type, asset type, investment goal, or a sub-portfolio? Or, does it do it for all of these types? : : : Thanks, : : Mark, : : My custom report uses investment name, inv inception, end value, symbol, end shares, end %port, ROI (3m), ROI(6m), ROI (1y), ROI (3y), ROI (5y), ROI (btw). Report show ROI yield for an investment. Where it should be NA it has the same value ROI yield as the shorter period (where I had the investment for the full period). So, if I held an investment for only 1 year the 1 year ROI is shown for 3 and 5 ROI also. And "Allow Interpolation Prior to First Recorded Price" is unchecked. : : Regards//Cliff : : Thanks, the custom report is calculating the ROI yields using "Step" interpolation and allowing interpolation before the first recorded price. It is doing this no matter what the yield settings are for interpolation, which makes it different from the ROI report and the Portofolio Editor. I will fix this for 7.2 so it is consistent with those two, where the yield interpolation options are based on your settings. Thanks for pointing this out. : Thanks, Mark - I think I'm having a similar problem. In version 6, I had a custom report with a column for ROI-End. That would show the ROI for each investment and that ROI matched the ROI shown on the graphs. With V7, I only get N.A. in that column. I've tried adjusting interpolation ranges and that doesn't seem to help. If I select ROI-btw, the I get an ROI in the report, but only for the investment that I've held for the longest time period. All the rest still show N.A. I appears like the calculation for ROI in V7 in reports is being done on the date range of the longest held investment whereas in earlier versions the ROI in the reports was based on a different time period for each investment. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thanks. TW Hayes
