: : : Hi, : : : I use the New Portfolio Wizard to set up a test portfolio with a default Cash account. I select all three options under Import Options in the Retrieve Transactions window. All stock purchase transactions get retrieved correctly, but no interest or dividend transactions. The account I retrieve from is at Scottrade. Further transaction retrievals do not import these transactions either. Looking at the ofxretr.txt file, there is no dividend or interest data. : : : Any thoughts? : : : /Franco : : : : A couple of possibilities... : : 1) Have you had any dividend/interest payments in the last 90 days or so? The OFX servers generally don't store transactions longer than this. : : 2) Scottrade is not providing this data on their OFX server for some reason. You might call them up and ask them. If it isn't in your ofxretr.txt file, then it isn't getting sent down. : : Thanks, : : I do have interest for the last month. I imagine that calling general Scottrade support may not get me anywhere. Do you have a Scottrade link/phone number or general for OFX? : /Franco
Sorry, but I don't have any special phone number for Scottrade. You might look around on their site for instructions on retrieving for Money and Quicken. Fund Manager uses the same technique as these programs (OFX server). Thanks,
