I have THREE stocks
A 100 shares at $50sh = $5k
B 50 shares at $80sh = $4k
C 30 shares at $150sh = $4.5k

total investment = $13.5k

Now I can do a dozen reports
HOWEVER

I am unable to get/deal with which of those three (and in the case of my real portfolio lets say 40 stox and MF) to determine FOR MY FOLIO, WHAT THE REAL WORLD RELATIVE GAIN OR COST OR _______ IS FOR ANY OR ALL of the investments. I dont give a rip if a loser of which I have only 100 sh is, if its only 1.5 % of my total investment. But I do care what the RETURN RELATIVE TO MY FOLIO IS.
Its THAT value/cost whatever that I should make decisions on, perhaps you can enlighten me how I can do that simple calculation within FM.
I mean WITHOUR popping the report numbers into a spreadsheet.........

THANKS, I hope there is a way...............

Lars

yours for continued NON NUMBERCRUNCHER, NON AUDITOR, and NON TAX CONSULTANT information with FM. Dont forget the system to allow one to do overlaid investment chart but using the first Purchase, not the starting point of my data which may be 5 yes sprior to every buying a share....
