: : : : : Hi Tjeerdo,

: : : : : That version should still work okay with the Yahoo quote server. Can you give me an example ticker symbol you're using that doesn't update?

: : : : Yes, for instance: "ING.AS" stopped working. While "KPN.AS" is still working.

: : : : This is what's in the "prices.csv" file:

: : : : "AABSC.AS","51.8000","24/5/2005","0","0.0000","0.0000","0.0000"
: : : : "AABA.AS","18.8500","24/5/2005","6081514","18.9300","18.7100","18.8600"
: : : : "AGN.AS","10.2700","24/5/2005","7493073","10.3100","10.1600","10.2700"
: : : : "AKZA.AS","32.5300","24/5/2005","408399","32.7100","32.4100","32.6100"
: : : : "EURUSD=X","1.2580","24/5/2005","0","0.0000","0.0000","0.0000"
: : : : "INGA.AS","22.2900","24/5/2005","7959748","22.3900","22.1800","22.3700"
: : : : "RDA.AS","46.9600","24/5/2005","7329552","47.1200","46.7700","46.8200"
: : : : "KPN.AS","6.6500","24/5/2005","9331962","6.7300","6.6300","6.7200"
: : : : "PBBF.AS","36.6500","24/5/2005","0","0.0000","0.0000","0.0000"
: : : : "ROBA.AS","22.8400","24/5/2005","0","0.0000","0.0000","0.0000"
: : : : "ROLA.AS","19.2700","24/5/2005","0","0.0000","0.0000","0.0000"
: : : : "TP.AS","9.9600","24/5/2005","0","0.0000","0.0000","0.0000"
: : : : "AAHIE.AS","65.8000","24/5/2005","0","0.0000","0.0000","0.0000"

: : : : This shows that all the prices received....(but not updated in the program).

: : : : Thanks,

: : : Hi Tjeerdo,

: : : Notice, that many of them have prices of $0. If you go to Yahoo and request the ING.AS symbol, it re-directs you to the quote for INGA.AS. It appears the symbol has changed. If you update your symbols in Fund Manager I suspect this will fix the problem.

: : Mark,

: : Thanks for your suggestion. I'm not home currently but will check it when I'm am and let you know. By the way: If you look in the prices.csv list, the symbol for ING is in fact "INGA.AS" so the price is received.

: : Isn't the first value after the symbol in the prices.csv file the price? These are all present...

: Hi Tjeerdo,

: If you have the symbol recorded as ING.AS it won't get updated, even if
: INGA.AS is available in your retrieved data. FM matches up based on symbol. I suspect that you are requesting ING.AS, and Yahoo is smart enough to reply with the value for INGA.AS, but since the symbol doesn't match your FM symbol, the price won't get updated. If you change the symbol in FM to the symbol now used by Yahoo (INGA.AS) that should fix up any issues.

: Thanks,
: Mark

:

Mark,

You where completely right, that's exactly what happened! For some reason Yahoo changed the symbols of almost every investment in my portfolio to another symbol. They also stopped supporting a couple of others. Nice (not)! I'm wondering why they do that... Unfortunately I don't think I can use an alternative quote server for the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.

Anyway, with your help I was able to fix it where possible!

Thanks for your support!

Tjeerdo

P.s. could you please remove my emailadress from the first posting so I won't get spammed (I thought I had to fill it in to be able to post a message)?
