: : Transferred 17 mutual funds from Scottrade to Fidelity. Shares have been zeroed out in Scottrade, but do not show up in the Fidelity account because there was no name associated with the 'buy' when it came across to Fidelity. I ended up with a blank investment name in F with the total value of the 'buys, ie, Scottrade sells 456 shares of MF ABC for $n and Fidelity buys " " for $n, instead of 456 shares of ABC for $n.

: : How can this be corrected?

: tried several more times (6) and FM came across with the asset names..success! NEW PROBLEM: All 17 MF's have a listed current price of "$0.24". 24 cents for each fund price. Tried manually updating, 6/29-6/30, no change. Changed to Yahoo.. no change. What now coach?

Hi Steven,

If this happens again, you can always manually adjust the investment name using "Investment Properties... / General". You should be able to manually edit that 0.24 price, or retrieve more prices. Use "Edit / All Data... " with the "Prices" data type to edit the 0.24 price manually. I'd suggest leaving the quote server setting in the Investment Properties set to "" and changing the defaul server to the one you want under "Options / Internet Settings...". That way, if you ever want to use a different server it is easier to change for all your investments. Does this investment have a proper symbol recorded, that is available on Yahoo?

Thanks,
Mark
