Hi Mary,

Yes, the overlay graphs are for plotting multiple investments and/or portfolios on the same graph. They are plotted on a normalized scale, for comparison purposes. You can use the "Portfolio/Investment(s) Overlay" graph types to overlay multiple portfolios and/or investments. You can use the "Investment Overlay" graph types to just overlay investments. You'll want to use the "Graphs / Options / Overlaid Portfolios..." and "Graphs / Options / Overlaid Investments..." menu commands to choose which items to overlay.
