: Dear Mark,

: I seem to have forgotten how to allocate the cash from the sale of a security in an account to the money fund of that account. I cannot seem to identify the place in the Help menu where this is explained or figure out how to do it.

: Thank you,

: Bill

Hi Bill,

The cash from your transactions goes into/out of the "Default Cash Account" assigned to each sub-portfolio. You can set the default cash account with the Portfolio Properties... dialog box. Use the Portfolio Editor (View / Portfolio Editor) and right mouse click on a sub-portfolio and choose "Properties...".

Thanks,
Mark
