: Mark,
: The account balance is still of because the money market (cash) balance is not correct. How can I put in the account value to show additions put in during the year, and to fluctuate with the investment purchase prices?
: Thanks Eddie

Hi Eddie,

You can assign your money market as your "default cash account" for your portfolio. Then, whenever you buy, sell, or receive a distribution, that money will automatically go into or come out of your default cash account.

In the "Portfolio Editor", right mouse click on your portfolio, and choose "Properties..." to assign the default cash account.

If you have adjustments you need to make to your money market, you can just record a buy/sell in that account directly. Usually it is best to keep money markets at a fixed $1 share price.

Thanks,
Mark
