: Hi Mark,
: I managed to import my transactions from Quicken succesfully. However I did not import the associated cash transactions.
: I now find that if I attempt to adjust the portfolio for the respective cash transactions the portfolio is incorrect. For example if the initial cash subscription was £7,000 the downloaded puchase of £5,000 stock is not removed from this default cash account.
: Were my initial download parameters incorrect or is there a way around this ?

: Thanks, Rupert

Hi Rupert,

For your default cash account to be debited/credited with funds from all your transactions you must first have this default cash account created and assigned to the portfolio you're importing into. Also, when you import, on the Preview Transactions screen there is an option "Automatically Record Corresponding Entries In Default Cash Account". You'll want to turn that on for the default cash account to be updated for all the transactions you're importing.

Thanks,
Mark
