: : I just downloaded a trial version of your software for evaluation and used hypothetical investments. Now I am trying to delete them and can not delete them. I tried in data manager but there is always some message box that says you can not delete 0 price. How can I delete them?

:
: Hi Michael,

: To delete an investment, right mouse click on it, and choose "Close Investment" from the popup menu. It sounds like you were working on deleting the transactions/prices within an investment, rather than the investment itself. If you have multiple investments you want to remove, use the Portfolio Editor (View / Portfolio Editor). You can select multiple investments using the Ctrl and Shift keys, just like you would in Windows Explorer. Let me know if you need more details on this.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Jeffrey & Mark --
Using right click on portfolios works for me for both copy and paste. This also works well, providing you go back and delete the original after the paste (I didn't try deleting right after the copy - but it might work).

Mark's suggestion works best if you make all of your portfolios visible in the left hand portfolio tree by creating a "Top Portfolio" and placing all your other portfolios under it.
