: Mark,
: Thanks for the idea of establishing a cash investment type to track the withdrawals from my IRA. When I purchase shares (money) on my withdrawal cash investment type account, FM correctly debits the default cash account, however the cash account is still part of the IRA portfolio, thus its value has not changed. If I do a redemption from this cash account, FM places the value back into the default cash account. Any additional ideas?
: Thanks,
: Gary T.

Hi Gary,

You can manually delete the corresponding default cash account entry, so the proceeds aren't going in/out of the default cash account. Thinking about this some more though, I don't think this will get you what you're looking for. It seems this would require a feature where Fund Manager categorized your buys/sells. That way you could report on a certain category, like maybe a "withdrawal" category. That sounds like it might be a good idea for a future version.

Thanks,
Mark
