: : Mark,

: : I'm currently using the workaround I found in the archives for employer granted stock options - basically, create a second cash investment with a negative value.

: : The archives mentioned that you were considering an enhancement for this type of stock option. That's definitely a feature that would be useful to me. So if you decide what to work on based on how many people are interested, consider this one more vote...

: : Thanks

: Hi Bill,

: Thank you, this kind of feedback does indeed help decide where to focus for the next major release.

Hi Mark,

I would like to add my vote to Bill's for support of Employer Granted Stock Options in some future release. Also, thanks for the great idea for a negative cash account workaround in the meantime.

By creating a sub-portfolio for just the stock options with it's own special cash account, I can see the approximate value of my vested options at any given time (watching carefully to be sure they don't go "negative" of course!). I have post-dated both the stock and accompanying negative cash transactions to reflect the date they vest. That way any report pulled through "Today" only reflects those already vested.

I sure appreciate your software, Mark - you've helped me manage my complex world for many years!
