Lots of Data

I have a lot of different investments, (mostly small, unfortunately) but the data files are getting larger and larger as I retrieve new prices every day.
Is there some easy way to convert the "older than one year " historical data to every week instead of every day? This would reduce the size of the data files and hopefully improve the performance of Fund Manager.

When I start Fund Manager it calculates for several minutes before coming up.
