Thanks Mark,

1. The date filter is set to "All Dates"
2. The option "Ignore Transactions Already In Fund Manager Investment"
is always turned on when the window opens. I turn it off after the window opens but I still don't get anything showing in the window. Anyway, at least some of the transactions given in the tranlog.txt file have not yet been entered in Fund Manager--I checked.

3. Another possible clue: The tranlog.txt file contains some transactions that were retrieved, but the trandata.txt file contains only:
Portfolio: 14
Portfolio: 4
Portfolio: 10
Portfolio: 12
Portfolio: 5
Portfolio: 11

The Help screen accessed through the "Select Transactions to Update" window says that "The data file contains just the portfolio data retrieved." So shouldn't trandata.txt contain more than just the six lines given above? Shouldn't it also contain the transactions?

: to Update" dialog box. When selected (which it is by default) any transactions
: that are duplicates of ones you already have recorded will not be shown.
