: Hi,

: Why when I do create a new stock entry in my portfolio, do I have to enter a price..???

: Very often I don't know the last price of the stock, I do enter 1$ and after the retrieval of the price historical for that stock I have to DELETE this 1$ entry....

: Thank you for your help.

Hi Marc,

This is a requirement, that all investments have at least 1 price.
I understand the issue with creating a new investment, and hopefully we
can improve this in the future. As a suggestion for now though, you may
want to record the $1 price for the most recent weekday, or today if it is
a weekday. That way, when you retrieve historical prices, your $1 price
will get overwritten, and you won't need to go back and delete it.

Thanks,
Mark
