Distribution Date v.s. Ex-dates

How would I post something like this?

> ACM Income Fund, Inc. (NYSE: ACG - News), a closed-end
> management investment company, declared on this date,
> January 28, 2003, a monthly income dividend of $0.0825
> per share of Common Stock, payable February 21, 2003 to
> shareholders of record at the close of business on
> February 7, 2003. Ex-date will be February 5, 2003.

According to the above declaration, Feb 5th is my "For Shares Owned On:", and February 21st is the "Date Received". Can I enter this trasaction today, say Feb 12, before the actual day?
