Alerts - Close Price Averaging Technique

As you are aware, I and several others, have requested that
you extend the existing alert system to allow us users to
define various averaging techniques to be used to as the
price definition for alerts.

What's your current position? Are you planning to provide
this feature? Do you have a planned implementation date?
Can I, and a few others, be on a beta test group for it?
