: Hi...Mark, : On 7/20/99 I recorded to my Money Market investment a fee of $9.95. This : transaction causes a Capital Gains report, either FIFO or AVG, to list : money market capital gain transactions. Right now I show 15 lines with a : capital lose from 0.08 to 0.49, totaling 3.53. Is there a way to record the : fee but not have it mess up my Capital Gains report? Is there a way to : simple keep the Money Market investment from showing up in the Capital Gain : reports? I'm using FM 4.2 beta 2. : Thanks, : Gary Gary, This might make a good future option for cash investment types, but for now they will show up in your capital gains reports if they are open. The "Account Fee" and "Return of Capital" distribution types will adjust your cost basis. If you use any other type of distribution, your cost basis will not be adjusted, and your capital gains will all be $0.
Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley
