: I have a few different securities account that are all included in one portfolio in Fund Manager. The cash accounts are all combined into one .dat file in the portfolio called "Cash," which represents the total cash value in my combined accounts. One of the accounts included in the portfolio is an IRA. When I earn interest on the cash in my IRA and I record an interest income distribution, the "Distribution Summary" report naturally includes the interest I have earned on the cash in my IRA. This messes up my tax preparation, because I need to exclude the interest earned in my IRA. Similarly, when a dividend or other distribution is paid by any of the holdings in my IRA, it shows on the Distribution Summary report.

: Is there any way I can get around this problem without having to separate my IRA account into an entirely separate portfolio? I like to view all of my investments as a single portfolio, because together they represent my entire net worth.

: Thanks again,
: Avi

Hi Avi,
I can understand your desire to see such a report, but currently the
only way to accomplish this would be to create a portfolio without
your IRA investments.

Thanks,
Mark
