Entering prepaid bond interest

Mark, I have purchased a US Treas bond, and have paid prepaid interest as well as commission. I have searched tjhe help files and the message board and have found nothing specific on how to handle the prepaid interest. I presume I can enter it as a dividend received but assign a negative value, but will the cash acct. be debited for the full amount? I don't think so.
