download problem

I downloaded 4.2, but it "dissappeared" after the download.
I tried it three times. The last time, I had explorer open, saw
created as o bytes, saw the download process complete, then the download
manager screen disappeared (as expected), but the file disappeared from
the explorer view. "find" function failed to find it anywhere.

Where did it go?
