automatic weekly purchases

Is there a way for FM4.2 to record weekly purchases for a set dollar amount
to a mutual fund? (In other words, for example, I might buy $40 of shares
in "fund x" every Friday and want to record the purchase and update the price
automatically every Saturday when I update prices.)
