: : Thnks for the detail above. I edited the file before importing and added the ending parenthesis where it was missed. After that I imported it again. Some of the lines obeyed and imported properly, others, like the one above (A. KALPINIS - N. SIMOS) refused to obey!!! What can I suppose? I do apologise for your time Mark, but I cant think of any solution.

The line as i have edited it is the following:
A. KALPINIS - N. SIMOS Steel Service Center) KASIK 25/10/99 6585 S 19010 7000 6385 128523350 87 6700
The string i use is the one you have suggested already.
