Many thanks for 210.

Unfortunately Yahoo UK is continuing to be a pain. All appears to work with 210 except for two letter symbols that are not followed by a full stop (i.e. CW. works but CW does not). They work if you enter the symbol via Yahoo UK's web site but not via Fund manager. The FT100 symbol seems to have switched back to "FTSE" from its previus incarnation of "^UKX"!

Is this an interim fix or do you expect Yahoo to stay like this from now on?

Having just removed all the full stops from my portfolios (per Yahoo's instructions last week) I am slightly reluctant to put them back again. It also means converting the Excel VBA macros I use to convert Market Eye Prices and history files to a format compatible with Fund Manager and Yahoo UK

As the various data providers seem unable to agree upon a common standard I wondered whether it might be possible to add some sort of facility for setting the various parameters to the Internet Settings dialog. This would be simpler than amending the symbols themselves or making changes to the registry. One parameter might be a factor by which the input is multiplied (to accommodate £ sterling or pence etc). Another might be the default suffix (.L) etc. It would also be useful if one could override the input date. Yahoo has the irritating habit of changing the date at midnight - so if you are late downloading the day's data it enters it as the following day.

Obviously if these problems are unique to the UK it might not be worth your while but at the moment it is very difficult to switch from one data provider to another without converting the data externally.

As always many thanks for an otherwise excellent product.
