: : : Is there any way to get a report output saved to the disk as a text file or a doc file that can be imported into Word? I like to send quarterly reports of my investment performance to my financial advisor, and have found no way to email the report except print it out and scan it, and convert it to text with a document reader.

: : Ralph,
: : You can copy the report's text to the clipboard, and then paste
: : it into any other application. See "Edit/Copy", or use the toolbar
: : button.

Ralph,
If you use a fixed width font, then the formatting is retained. All
the columns are lined up in the text format, but if you are using a proportional
font, when you paste it into Word, the columns won't line up. Most
text editors, use a fixed width font by default, so you can paste it in
there to get an idea first. Try it in notepad for example.

Thanks,
Mark
