Mark

Just to keep you up to date with the continuing problems at Yahoo UK. I am begining to see how they got their name.

Most stocks now work with version 210. However there are still problems with British Telecom and British Aerospace. It looks as though these suffer from some sort of hangover from the previous changes.

British Telecom - Yahoo says the symbol should be BT.A.L Using this on their web site gives the price in £ sterling not pence which is the format used for all their other shares.

Fund Manager will only retrieve the prices if the ".L" is added to the symbol. (ie the default setting of ".L" does not work as it does for other shares). Once this is added the price is retrieved in £ sterling not pence.

British Aerospace - here Yahoo quotes the symbol as BA..L Using this on their web site gives a price in pence as it should do.

Fund manager again will only retrieve the price if ".L" is added to the symbol (ie the default does not work) but then retrieves the price in £ sterling although it is shown in pence on the web site!

Other stocks with two letter symbols work without the addition of ".L" to the symbol and download in correctly in pence. (eg Cable & Wireless works perfectly with the symbol "CW."

I realise this is probably their fault not yours but wondered whether you have channel of communication with them. I have tried posting messages to them in the past but with no response.

Thanks

Michael
