: : : : : Hi Mark, : : : : : I've reinstalled 4.2 after my HD crash but now when I record a purchase, split or other event the markers don't show on the graphs. I've tried all I can think of in the Options/Color menu and also made sure that the markers are all turned "on". Am I missing something? Thanks for the help! : : : : : Wyatt : : : : Hi Wyatt, : : : : Do you have a graph type on that displays markers? Could you have the : : : : date range or scale set, such that you aren't seeing them? Do you see : : : : any markers? : : : : Thanks, : : : : Mark : : : : -- : : : : Mark Beiley : : : : : : : : Fund Manager for Windows 3.1x/95/98/NT : : : : : : : : : : : Hi Mark, : : : Yes I have the standard Share Price graph on with the maximum settings, etc. The oddest thing is that the samples that came with the program show up fine. I dragged and dropped the samples into the My Data folder to use them in my own portfolios and then none of those markers show up - doesn't seem to make sense. Thanks. : : : Wyatt : : Wyatt, : : Are you opening the sample portfolios, or just opening the investments? : : When you look at "Options/Colors..." can you see the markers displayed on : : the sample screen? : : Thanks, : : Mark : : -- : : Mark Beiley : : : : Fund Manager for Windows 3.1x/95/98/NT : : : : : Mark, : Do you think it would make sense to backup my .dat files (which are numerous), Uninstall FM, and then reinstall to see what happens? Thanks. : Wyatt Wyatt, I think it might be your colors. You could try the above, but first, please try my previous suggestion. You could also try this: Using "regedit" delete the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Beiley Software\Fund Manager\CurrentVersion\colors Then, start just FM, with no portfolio. Then open some investments and see if the markers show up. This will prevent your specified colors from being used, and it will revert to FMs default colors. Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley
