Sale of a designated block of stock

For capital gains I would like to sell a specific block of stock - Least appreciated vs. FIFO or Avg cost basis. This would allow me to sell the blocks with the highest gain after retirement when tax brackets are lower. Has anyone figured a way to recodr this one?
