: Hi Mark, I have shares of the same fund, TPAGX, in both my taxaple act. and
: my IRA act. As per your suggestion (in the help file) I named the IRA fund
: TPAGX2. When I D/L prices from Yahoo (or Yahoo Adjusted) I get no data for
: TPAGX2 because it's not a correct ticker symbol. I don't want to just copy
: the data from TPAGX.dat to TPAGX2.dat as I assume that will overwrite the
: buy/sell transaction data in the file. If I just use TPAGX when viewing my IRA
: act I assume that will screw up the portfolio valuation. How do I deal w/
: this?

Kosmo,
The ticker symbol and filename are independent. You can leave the
filenames unique (i.e. TPAGX and TPAGX2)), but keep both of the symbols
as TPAGX. You can adjust the symbol under "Investment Properties...".

When creating a new investment, FM fills in a default filename for you
based on the symbol, but you can change/adjust this to any filename you
want.

Thanks,
Mark
