: : I have a portfilio of watched investments so there is not a number of shares owned entered into the investments. One of the investments has a 15.7% gain and another a 7.2% gain over the past week. When I sort by gain/fund (Investments/sort by.../% gain-f) The 7.2% gain is listed first in the stack and the 15.7% gain third. Others appear to be out of order as well but I have not done the math to determine for sure but those two definately are.

: : If I change the date range to 11/1/99 - 11/26/99 all is fine but if I leave it 11/22/99 - 11/26/99 then the stack is out of order.

: : What is it about the shorter date range that bothers FM? it does not seem to be that particular week either, it looks as if any 5 day range selected causes the stack to ordered incorrectly.

: If I generate a 5 day report the % gain is also reported incorectly,
: it says that a change from 58.875 to 63.125 is a 24.38% increase. the graph correctly displays the proper 7.2% increase but the stack order is wrong.

Hi Ken,
When you sort the stack with the above command you are sorting it for
potentially varying date ranges. It is the %Gain-F of each investment for
the graph date range of each investment. If you turn off "View/Graphs"
and turn on "View/Yields" you will see the values for %Gain-F, and they
should be in descending order.
The discrepency in %Gain-F could be due to distributions? Do you have
any recorded for these investments? See "Edit/All Data..." with the "Distributions"
data type.

Thanks,
Mark
