: I managed to enter two transactions. How do you get a listing of the portfolio investments and, the number of shares, and the average cost of the position?

You could get this in a custom report. Also, the place where most of your
data is viewed/edited is under the "Edit/All Data..." dialog. You can select
any investment currently opened, and also the type of data for that investment
that you want to look at or edit. Spend some time in that dialog, it will
help you view/add/adjust any of your data.

: All I get is some graph which has no relevance to anything.

If you are unsure of what a graph means, click on "Help/Help on Graph",
this explains the meaning of each graph type. (They all hopefully
have some relevance...)

Thanks,
Mark
