: : Hi Mark, : : If you're interested in implementing another internet download site for : : Canadian Mutual Funds (I know I find Quicken to be rather slow, and have : : heard others also state this), tse.com (http://tse.com/investor/quot_set.html) : : also allows you do get quotes and it seems to be pretty quick. : : Thanks, : : Daniel : Hi Daniel, : Thanks for the suggestion, we are planning to improve the offerings : for quote servers for Canadian funds/stocks. We were planning on : adding support for: : www.canada-stockwatch.com : They are fast, and offer stocks and funds, and use the same fund codes : as the current Quicken site. Is there something tse.com offers over : this site that we should consider? : Thanks, : Mark Thanks for the reply. Actually, I think your choice is better. I have used canada-stockwatch before, but never realized they also served mutuals, especially using the same symbols as quicken. This is great. This site is also good in that it also serves both Canadian and US stocks, allowing mutuals, canadian stocks, and US stocks to be updated all from one source. The only thing to watch for is that the price quote for US stocks seems to default to fractions instead of decimals, don't know if this will cause a problem or not. The only downside in my experience with this site has been that it does sometimes get overloaded during the day. However I don't remember ever having a problem in the evening. Thanks, Daniel
