: One of the mutual funds I track is Fidelity Cash Reserves. It is a money market fund and is a part of one of my portfolios. The value of each share is $1. The market symbol is FDRXX. The downloaded daily quotes always shows the value per share at $5.57. I edit the share prices to correct this. Is there some way I can get the downloaded quotes to show the correct $1 value? Should I change the symbol to $?

Hi Bob,
This has been a common problem. When retrieving money markets from
Yahoo, they get updated with the 7 day yield, not $1. This was
intended to be a feature, but has caused some confusion. For cash
investments that are to be kept at a constant $1, turn off the
retrieve for these investments using "Investment Properties.../Other/
Internet Retrieve Updates Price".
For version 4.3 we changed the default for new cash investments to
have this option turned off at creation.

Thanks,
Mark
