: I have FM4.3 set to backup on close, however I continue to get the message "Investments in backup directory are currently open" and the back up is aborted. How do I over come this problem.

: Thank you

: Kerry

Hi Kerry,
This message means that you currently have open some investments in
your defined 'autoback' folder. The 'autoback' folder is where FM copies
your investments to when it does an autobackup. You should not open
the investment files from this location, this area is intended as a backup.
You can create a custom report with the "path" field included, to see where
all of your open investments are located. Close the ones from the 'autoback'
directory, and re-open them from their original, non autoback directory location.

Thanks,
Mark
