Hi Willis,
Are you certain you're looking at the same investment files? Could they
be another copy, in a different directory. It does not matter whether
you have an investment open as part of a portfolio, or just as a single
investment by itself, the data is still the same. The data is stored in
the investment file, so it doesn't matter which way you open it. You can check
the path of your investments in the portfolio by creating a custom report
with the "Path" field selected. You can also check the investments individually
by choosing "Investment Properties.../Statistics" to see the path/filename.
