After much searching, what I found was a bad date in the actual price for a LEAP option on the QQQ index tracking stock for the NASDAQ. What was downloaded from the quote server was apparently 12/29/00 instead of 12/29/99... this brings up an interesting point ... perhaps a little utility that goes and searches and then flags prices in the portfolio that have dates that are greater than the current date might help track these types of problems ... unless of course this doesn't happen much ... does it?

: : This the first day of Y2k that I have accessed Fund Manager and I have noticed a strange discrepancy ... I am not sure that it is related to the 2000 rollover but ... the amount reported at the bottom of the screen as the portfolio value when I have a portfolio open, differs by $500 from the amount reported when I run the Portfolio Value report with the same portfolio open

: :
: : With GRAPHS set to Portfolio Value and VIEW with the graphs unchecked, the portfolio is $500 less than when I run the Portfolio value report with an end date of 1/2/2000

: Hi Richard,
: Did you check that the end date of your graphs is the same as the end date of your report?

: Thanks,
: Mark
