: : In attempting to enter transactions for Dec/23/1999 as mm/dd/yy, I am getting Dec/2099.
: : When I go to the calendar, today's date, then the previous month to get thedat,
: : I get 9/14/1752 as a result. I just downloaded the most recent version of Fund Manager
: : but I have not yet registered the upgrade (I was at 4.x).
: : Will registration fix this problem?

: Hi Ardell,
: The format of the date displayed in the date controls is controlled by
: your settings in Windows:

: Control Panel / Regional Settings / Date

: You can adjust the "Short Date Style" to display a 4 digit year if you
: prefer, or are having trouble entering the proper 2 digit year. You
: can control the way a 2 digit year is interpreted in this same dialog.

: This is not affected by registration.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Thanks Mark,
I had changed the short date format, but had not checked beyond the graphs.
The four-digit year appeared in edit mode and all works as it should.
