: The provider of the data I import into fundmanager has just gone
: from the "UD" format (YYMMDD) to an eight digit date as YYYYMMDD
: so that the first of January 2000 would be 20000101.

: Is it possible to set up the importing function to bring the
: data in?

: Sample of old data:
: AAA,000106,2.500,2.500,2.500,2.500,23875

: Old import mask:
: SYMB,UD,XX,HH,LL,NAV,VV!REM Sez format

: Sample of new data:
: AAA,20000106,2.500,2.500,2.500,2.500,23875

: New import mask tried (unsuccessfully):
: SYMB,YYYYMMDD,XX,HH,LL,NAV,VV!REM 8 Digit Date format

: Any ideas anyone?

You can't currently import a date with this format: YYYYMMDD
The UD works on a 6 character date: YYMMDD, and to use the YY
keyword you would need a delimeter of some sort (like a comma, backslash...)
between the year, and the next field. If this is going to become
a standard, we may choose to add a new key, that would support
this 8 character date format.

Thanks,
Mark
