Hi Mark, I like the new backup feature which spans multiple disks. The first time I backed up using blank disks it went well. However, the next time I used those same disks to backup another session there were problems and have been ever since. With disk 1 there was no activity. The program said it required more space and asked me to use another disk. I then put in disk 2 and it did the same and asked for another disk. I then placed the third backup disk and there was activity. However, when it was done it indicated that it had backed up only about 15% of the investments and asked me to label that third disk as disk 2. It then asked for a fourth disk. More activity this time, but it backed up only about 50% at that point, asked me to label this fourth disk as disk 3 and asked for another disk. The backup program does not seem to be able to overwrite existing data but adds on to the end of the previously recorded data and at that rate will require an ever increasing number of disks. When I review the files on the disks in windows explorer, the files first layed down on disk one don't appear to have been updated. However, if I use a fresh set of blank disks, then the updated files from the new session appear to be recorded properly. I could use fresh disks each time and reformat the previously backed up disks, but that does not seem very efficient. Any suggestions? Thanks. Carl Richards
