: : Would like to download or copy a portfolio value report made from pie chart, into a MS works spreadsheet, but cant find a way without entering all data manually?

: Hello,
: While viewing the portfolio value report, you can use "Edit/Copy", which
: will copy the report text to the clipboard. You can then paste it into
: any other application you want.
: One quick way to get to the asset type from an investment's graph is
: to right mouse click on the graph, and then choose "Investment Properties..."
: from the popup menu. Was this what you were looking for?

: Thanks,
: Mark

Not really... I wuz able to do the copy thing, but it will not copy it into a spreadsheet and allow me to manipulate the columns. Everything (each line of report, that is each investments info) copies in as a single text line, not invididual numbers into individual spreadsheet columns. Note one has that option when downloading portfolio info from AOL, it can be what, CSV, tab , or text??? No tab options in FM?
and
The investment properties cannot be tailored without walking through each investment, and to change percentages it takes-
right click investment on screen
click properties
asset type
change %
enter number (numbers if using varied percents)
back out
next investment
If one is changing all their investments in a folio, lotta clicks
seems like if U can have a chart for catagory labels and asset types, all easily changed in one fell swoop, same could be done for the percentages???
Just lazy I guess!
L.
