Automatic Backup

When I attempted to do a backup on my prior version, and now on the latest version when I exit, I get an "Automatic backup aborted Investments in the backup directory are currently open". But I've tried to find the autobackup files and can't. I'm stumped - can anyone help me? Thanks.
