I get the same thing. I am using the latest version of FM. Win98. At first I thought that the problem was related to me trying to save the investment from the default ticket symbol (for example: rhat.dat) to another name, like rhat_sep.dat. As soon as you click on "Save", FM goes to the portfolio view then gives you the GPF (illegal operation) screen. Now it seems to happen even when I leave all setting to their default.
