: : : : I downloaded an evaluation copy of Fund Manager. I entered all the info. in a sample portfolio. I now see that I have version 4.2 and 4.3 is available. If I download version 4.3 will I retain all the information I posted in this sample portfolio?

: : : Yes. The program version is independent of your data. All newer versions
: : : can always read the data you've created with any prior version of Fund
: : : Manager.

: : : You can just download 4.3, and install it right over 4.2. There is no
: : : need to uninstall 4.2 first.

: : : Thanks,

: : Bye the way, Mark, How long do I have to evaluate the program?

: Hi Jan,
: The evaluation period is just defined as a "reasonable period".
: When the program is unregistered it keeps track of the number of
: times you start Fund Manager. After about 50 starts, you will
: start getting warnings that your evaluation period has expired,
: and you need to register if you want to keep using it. After about
: 100 starts, you will need a registration password to continue.

: Thanks,
: Mark
