: : : : : : : : : Sure. For example a share say Control Instr Grp is CNL while a mutual fund say Coronation Financial Growth Fund is CNFG. All the shares are 3 letters long while the Mutual Funds are 4 Letters long. There is a ticker lookup on the JSE site; it is accessed when you try to look up a price and do not know the code so you just press search with an empty code box and an enormous list appears as a lookup.

: : : : : : : Ok, CNL is a share and is cents, ie when you looked at CNL it was 98/100= 0.98 and that is no problem.

Am using the software presently in that mode in a limited fashion but find the continual downloading for each portfolio the only weakness. Maybe a scheduler (built into FM) would solve that.

I have no idea how or why the JSE reports as it does and I dare say they would not entertain a change to suit us. Is there no way to effect a fix along the lines of the way you manipulate the shares data with the /100 fix?

: The answer is yes, with the only exception being goverment stock such as the R150 whose symbol is "R150" but their price is quoted in percentage points anyway so it will have no effect as far as I cam see.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to give this some thought. I did think
of one other work-around, to deal with this. You could assign your funds
to a different currency, and set it up with a 1000:1 ratio to your default
currency under "Options/Currency Settings...". Thanks,
