weighted performance figures in reports?

Continuing to use the reports feature more, however have an option that could be useful. THe reports give me the performance of individual stox and MF, and overall totals at bottom of page.
HOWEVER
those overall totals are quite misleading. One often wants a WEIGHTED total, in other words performance for each fund based on its relative weight of money invested in that fund compared to their overall portfolio.
I use such in my spreadsheet but it would be a useful optional column in such as Portfolio Performance, and posssibly others if possible? And/or a weighted yield for the time period since one owned the fund?

Again, the pure individual numbers are useful, but weighted return based on the individual fund return factored by the amount of $ invested in that fund vs. the $ in the entire folio.
