: Hi Mark. I recently installed a portfolio tracking program which I want to use in conjunctionm with
: FM. It allows the importing of data in various formats, including comma-delimited files,
: tab-delimited files, quicken 5.0 +, and metastock.

: I want to copy my existing transaction and portfolio info into that program.
: Am I right in thinking that I first export from FM to an appropriate format, then run the
: other program and import? Is there a way to import direct from FM without doing a format
: conversion?

: Thanks!

: Kim

Hi Kim,
You can export both transactions and prices from FM under the
"File/Export" menu. FM can export to QIF format for transactions,
which is Quicken Interchange Format, which most programs support.

Thanks,
Mark
