: Hi Mark, I'm using v4.5 on Win98SE. I sold a fund a while ago and entered
: the data in the Edit Data form as I usually do. IE: I entered the exact
: transaction value, the # of shares to 3 places, shifting the slight error to
: the price so that the price shown was $35.150002 for a price error of $.000002

: The # of shares was exactly what was being carried in the account and so it
: "left a share balance of 0.000 as it should. But the Value balance shows as
: -0.01 Why is this and how can I get rid of it?

: TIA,
: kosmo

Hi Kosmo,
Turn up the significant digits for shares to 6 digits under "Options/
Preferences..." and then view your share balance in "Edit/All Data...".
You may actually have some shares out past the 3rd spot, causing this
negative value.

Thanks,
Mark
