: : I've been using Fund Manager since the 3.x days and love it. A nagging question I've had since moving to 4.x: : : The original icons in portfolio view in 3.x was a gray background with a green arrow moving up what appeared to be a stock chart. Version 4.x changed the default icon to a white background with what appears to be an arrow. : : Usually when I go to portfoliio view to look at different portfolios, I still have the "old" 3.x icons...... Having said that, there are times, albeit unpredictable that when I go to change portfolios the icons are the "new" 4.x icons. : : Why aren't they always the 4.x icons and why do they change? Yes, I did install 4.x over the top of 3.x : : Thanks : : Doug : Hi Doug, : Can you check this: : From within Windows Explorer choose "View/Folder Options..." and then : click on the "File Types" tab. Scroll down to "Fund Manager Portfolio". : Hilight this, and choose "Edit...". Then click on the "Change Icon..." : tab. Make sure it is pointing to the correct filename (fm.exe) where : you have FM installed. Click "OK" all the way back out to Windows : Explorer. Does this fix the problem? : Thanks, : Mark : -- Mark: Thanks, it appears to have fixed the problem (admittedly a very minor problem at that) : Mark Beiley : : Fund Manager for Windows 3.1x/95/98/NT : :
