: HOW DO I STOP THE NEVER ENDING FLASH OF EVERY REPORT AND INVESTMENT WHEN FUND MANAGER STARTS?

: IT IS A GREAT PROGRAM AND SERVES MY NEEDS WELL BUT THE CONSTANT APPEARANCE OF
: REPORTS AT START UP IS WELL....DUMB.

Starting with Fund Manger 4.0 portfolios can now remember which
reports to create when opening a portfolio. You can turn this
feature on/off under a reports menu by selecting "Options/Report
Preferences.../General" and turning on/off "Portfolios Store and
Recall Reports".

You can also leave this option turned on, but just clean up some of
your open reports, and then save your portfolio. From under the "Windows"
menu you can see a list of all your open reports, and there is also
a "Close All Reports" command.

One way this can build up over time is if you create a new report each
time you open Fund Manager, and you have "Options/Save Portfolio on Exit"
turned on. This way, you get one more report added to your portfolio
each time.

Thanks,
Mark
