: Greetings! Now I'm an official registered user. My question is in regard to yield reports. The boys over at the "Motley Fool" keep talking about the value of "compounded average growth rate". Does ROI or %Gain-I have any similarity to CAGR? I'm a longterm dollar-cost averager and am looking for the "yield" that would best represent my monthly investments over the last 6 years. Thanks!

Hi Mark,
I'm not certain of the formula for "compounded average growth rate", but
it sounds similar to our average annualized ROI yield. See "Yield Calculations"
in the online help for a discussion of this yield, along with the equations.

Thanks,
Mark
